Family Trip Volunteers

Child playing on a carousel on a family outing.

Family trip volunteers accompany children on special outings, such as trips to Brookfield and Lincoln Park Zoos, Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry, Sears Tower, Chicago Botanic Garden, Indiana Dunes, or Wagner Farm.  The First Presbyterian Church of Evanston's bus (capacity: 24) is enlisted for transportation, but we usually need extra drivers and volunteers as well. Family outings occur on Saturdays about once every 6 weeks, from 9 am – @4 pm.Note that any volunteers working with children will be subject to background checks, to ensure the safety of our children.
