Join our new Associate Board!

Associate Board
Good News Partners is looking to engage a younger set of leaders to help move us into the future. This summer, we will be launching our new Associate Board. We need diverse and passionate young leaders!
The goal of the board will be to raise awareness and funds in support of GNP’s efforts to provide dignified and desirable affordable housing options.
Are you a passionate leader?
Members will draw upon personal expertise, utilize professional networks and be actively engaged in a range of activities including volunteering, fundraising, community outreach, networking, and other special projects. Ideal candidates are young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40.
Why join the Associate Board?
  • To directly support to individuals who are in a transitional period of life, need support and have nowhere else to turn.
  • To give back to our community by volunteering your time, skills and expertise.
  • To gain hands-on experience in non-profits, fundraising, event planning and transitional housing.
  • To meet new people with different backgrounds and similar interests.
Board Member Expectations:
  • Commitment to the mission of Good News Partners to end hopelessness and homeless with everyone God brings us – to foster justice, and build bridges of reconciliation.
  • Attend meetings three times a year which will include an update on the work of GNP.
  • Participate in one volunteer opportunity through Good News Partners to help increase your connection and understanding of the mission and impact of the organization.
  • Commit to giving or raising $500 in support of GNP on an annual basis. A primary function of the board will be to help one another meet this goal through special events hosted throughout the city.
  • Help identify creative solutions to challenges and opportunities faced by Good News Partners.
  • Support one another in planning, hosting and executing special events to raise funds and awareness for Good News Partners. As the group formalizes, the content and frequency of these events will be determined by its leaders.
